Privacy policy
Last updated September 4, 2026
This policy describes what personal data WolfStalk collects, why it is collected, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It applies to wolfstalk.com and to the WolfStalk application. Questions about anything here: info@wolfstalk.com.
Who we are
WolfStalk ("we") operates the WolfStalk analytics and simulation platform at wolfstalk.com. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy, and we can be reached at info@wolfstalk.com.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email address and, if you provide it, a phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account — never your Google password.
Preferences: your answers to the getting-started questionnaire (experience level, interests, risk preference), used only to tune how the product is presented to you. Every answer can be changed or cleared in Settings.
Content you create: portfolios, simulated positions, journal entries, watchlists and alert settings.
Usage and billing records: subscription state, a monthly count of AI analyses used, and technical logs kept for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect data from your brokerage account, and we do not buy data about you from anyone.
How we use it
To provide the service: authentication, storing your work, computing your positions' figures.
To personalise presentation: your questionnaire answers decide how much explanation the interface leads with — never what you can access.
To operate billing, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
AI features
When you run an AI analysis or use the Research Desk, the market data and portfolio figures needed for the answer are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate the response. Under Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. AI outputs are informational and are covered by the same no-advice terms as the rest of the product.
Who processes data for us
Supabase — database, authentication and storage. Vercel — application hosting. Paddle — payments: Paddle acts as merchant of record, so your payment card details go to Paddle and never reach our servers. Google — sign-in, if you choose it. Anthropic — AI responses, as described above.
Each provider processes data only to deliver its function. Market data itself (prices, volatility series) contains no personal information.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: keeping you signed in and remembering your language. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account at info@wolfstalk.com and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (such as billing records held by Paddle).
Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or a copy in a portable format. Residents of Israel have these rights under the Privacy Protection Law; residents of the EU/EEA and UK have corresponding rights under the GDPR. Write to info@wolfstalk.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is enforced row-by-row in the database so one account can never read another's data, and administrative access is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.
Age and changes
WolfStalk is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the product, and the date above always reflects the current revision.
